dutch consulate

This project was the design of a new Chancery for the Netherlands government on the 23rd floor of an office tower in Bondi Junction.

The brief required a range of spaces including a public reception, interview room, open work station area, offices, meeting room, amenities and ancillary support spaces.

The design involved creating a series of strong architectural elements within the fitout, which provides continuity between different spaces, and also generates a high level of interest within these spaces. These elements include a raw steel clad wall at the reception, a sinuously curved wall at the meeting room, and a curved module housing the amenities.

The design also provides for a series of vistas at various locations within the fitout to take advantage of the expansive views beyond.
